What this shows. The path the pointer took while a child played, sampled 10 times a second, plus every dwell that was started, abandoned or completed. It is recorded on this device only and never leaves it.

What this is not. This is pointer-access data, not gaze data and not attention. The site receives operating-system cursor movement โ€” from a mouse, joystick mouse, head mouse, trackball, or an eye-gaze system emulating a mouse โ€” and cannot tell where anyone was looking. It is only labelled eye gaze when a therapist has selected that access method in a game's โš™๏ธ settings, and even then it shows where the pointer went, not where the eyes went.
